After 28 events since October 2010, the Positively Pottstown Happy Hour is taking a break! These mostly-monthly gatherings showcased local businesses, arts organizations, bakers, restaurants, and caterers and brought people together for networking. I have a feeling it won't be too long before we're all getting together again... in the meantime, be well and buy local!
A section of South Hanover Street was closed this morning as crews were solving the problem of the railroad crossing arms.The street was closed between High and South streets. Fire police were on the scene into the afternoon and said that the arms, which stop traffic when trains cross the road, were malfunctioning and coming down for no reason.
