After 28 events since October 2010, the Positively Pottstown Happy Hour is taking a break! These mostly-monthly gatherings showcased local businesses, arts organizations, bakers, restaurants, and caterers and brought people together for networking. I have a feeling it won't be too long before we're all getting together again... in the meantime, be well and buy local!
Every year my monthly mortgage payment goes up. It goes up because of school property taxes. Eleven years in my home and the monthly increase over that time equals a very nice new car payment. I could use a new car right about now. I often hear politicians use terms like "paying fair share" and "investing in our future.
