After 28 events since October 2010, the Positively Pottstown Happy Hour is taking a break! These mostly-monthly gatherings showcased local businesses, arts organizations, bakers, restaurants, and caterers and brought people together for networking. I have a feeling it won't be too long before we're all getting together again... in the meantime, be well and buy local!
As predicted, scores from the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment released last week showed on average students in grades 3-8 did worse on the test than they did the previous year. That was expected because the test was changed this year, and local school officials said they weren't surprised by the drop.
