After 28 events since October 2010, the Positively Pottstown Happy Hour is taking a break! ROYERSFORD - It was a night of early season miscues and miscommunication Tuesday as the Spring-Ford Rams fell to Downingtown East in four sets in a Ches-Mont matchup at Spring-Ford Gymnasium.Set scores were 25-22, 11-25, 19-25, 16-25. "To come out like we did in the first game and get a win, that was huge," said Spring-Ford head coach Josh McNulty.
RED HILL - Last season it took a 7-1 thumping at the hands of North Penn to send Upper Perkiomen to its winning ways, eventually claiming its first PAC-10 and District 1-AA title since 2006. If history were to repeat itself, Tuesday afternoon's 7-0 throttling by Gwynedd Mercy could only be seen as a good omen.
