This Saturday from 10 am – 3 pm, the Boys & Girls Clubs Day for Kids will take place at the Richard J. Ricketts Center, 640 Beech St., Pottstown PA 19464. This annual event highlights the value of meaningful time between caring adults and children. This year’s theme is “Pledge to Play.” Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) is asking adults to spend meaningful time with a young person by engaging in active play. The local event is free & open to the public.
On Sunday, the 7th Annual Carousel of Flavor takes place from noon-4 pm in the 100 block of High Street. That’s the area around Smith Plaza and Borough Hall. This culinary festival celebrates all the incredible food offerings in the area. New this year is a beer garden, hosted by the Craft Ale House and the Pourhouse. See the Mercury’s article here.
