The composer of Broadway hits such as SWEENEY TODD, SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, COMPANY, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, INTO THE WOODS, and A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, and lyricist for GYPSY and WEST SIDE STORY, among many other shows, Sondheim is the winner of multiple Tony and Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, and a Pulitzer Prize.
