After 28 events since October 2010, the Positively Pottstown Happy Hour is taking a break! These mostly-monthly gatherings showcased local businesses, arts organizations, bakers, restaurants, and caterers and brought people together for networking. I have a feeling it won't be too long before we're all getting together again... in the meantime, be well and buy local!

A solo exhibition of work by Brian Glaze, Albright's newest assistant professor of art, will be presented at Albright College's Freedman Gallery. The exhibition includes, "Brian Glaze, Implements," on view in the Main Gallery, Aug. 30 to Dec. 17, and "Brian Glaze, Television," a video on view in the Foyer, Aug.
"Transitory Collective," an exhibit of woodcut and linoleum prints by 11 local artists known for their work in other disciplines, will be hosted by Studio B, 39A East Philadelphia Ave. The exhibit from their first print exchange opens Thursday, Sept. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. and runs through Sunday, Sept.
