National Night Out – Chestnut Street Park/Pottstown

Genesis Housing Corporation and the Victory Christian Life Center are pleased to announce that National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, August 5th at the Chestnut Street Park in Pottstown.  Join us at “America’s Night Out Against Crime” for Family Fun, Music, Games, Info and Food!

National Night Out at First United Methodist/Pottstown

First United Methodist Church at 414 E. High St. will host its second annual “Fire & Ice” event this year on National Night Out, Tuesday, August 5 from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.

They will be serving Pastor Will’s chili & Rita’s water ice.  

There will be a fire truck, fireman, dalmatian, simple craft, fire safety handouts, and experiments for children with a small volcano & snow-making in August!

Come out with the kids and enjoy a this hot-and-cold extravaganza!

More National Night Out activities on tap – August 6th!

The Pottstown National Night Out celebration will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 starting at 6:30 pm at the Washington/Chestnut Street Park in Pottstown. 

Please join us for an evening of fun that includes:

Moon bounce

Popcorn machine

Rita’s Italian Ice

Pretzels

Hot dogs and refreshments will be provided, first come first served!

Representatives of several local non-profits and Law Enforcement will be in attendance.

The NNO is an annual community event showing solidarity against drugs and crime, and celebrating the partnership between the community and local police, fire and emergency services. 

The celebration is being coordinated by Genesis Housing Corporation, National Penn Bank and MOSAIC Community Land Trust.

Aug. 6th: Mark calendar now for National Night Out

There will be a variety of neighborhood-friendly activities on tap for National Night Out, America’s Night Against Crime, being held this year on August 6th.

First United Methodist Church at 414 E. High Street in Pottstown is participating and inviting the whole community to join them. They are sponsoring a “Fire and Ice” event, serving Pastor Will’s chili and Rita’s water ice to friends and neighbors from 6 – 8:30 pm that evening. There will be a Goodwill firetruck, firemen, dalmatians, and a craft for small children. Come on out to meet your neighbors, the first step in building a strong, safe community!
