After 28 events since October 2010, the Positively Pottstown Happy Hour is taking a break! These mostly-monthly gatherings showcased local businesses, arts organizations, bakers, restaurants, and caterers and brought people together for networking. I have a feeling it won't be too long before we're all getting together again... in the meantime, be well and buy local!
CHESTER >> The time has come for the Philadelphia Union to be within reach of the long-coveted postseason. But with three games left and the most difficult of that stretch looming Saturday, manager Jim Curtin wasn't looking ahead Wednesday. The uncertainty bred by MLS makes it foolish to do so, even more so at the hectic ending to a season.

NORRISTOWN>> According to a Facebook post, Jessica Langevin's family hasn't seen her in two weeks. Pottstown police are looking for the 23-year-old, "but it's not as a missing person," noted Capt. Robert Thomas, who said Langevin's last known address was in the 900 block of High Street in Pottstown.

BIRDSBORO >> Lynn Bialek has built a garden for fairies in her backyard. It's something she looks forward to seeing every morning and especially at night when the lights within the little houses shine bright - welcoming fairies to visit. It only took a few weeks for her to get everything set up, with the help of her husband Lee.
